I've had my first issue with my Process paid Sensia this week, when a roll of slides came back with one bent, dented and punctured!

They have agreed to scan the slide in, retouch it and provide me with a print and digital copy free of charge, which is OK, though I think I should've pushed for the whole roll to be scanned in, something I cant afford from them, (£25 for a 12x8 sized scan!)

Has anyone else ever had issues with the service from them? This is my first in about 10 rolls.

Best thing to do is to call FujiFilm UK HQ in Bedford.

I've just had a roll back, the first time I've used process paid other than Kodachrome in years. Very pleased with the results although a bit disappointed that they were returned in a sheet of sleeves for the slides rather than a box, also not numbered which I'm sure they used to be.

Personally, I've never had any trouble with Fuji's slide processing.

They switched from putting them in boxes when the postal charges changed a few years back.

That's right - swapped when postage started to depend on package shape as well as weight. Used to prefer getting slides boxed, personally, but hey-ho. As far as quality concerned, I've never had problems with anything from them.

Ive also been using Fuji UK recently and had no problems.

Not long till this the end of this film type - a few rolls left :(

Looks like its just me then! I much prefer boxed slides, much easier to store, is there a cheap source of boxes online?

I have around 35 rolls left at the moment, boots stores near here are binning all their out of date stock which is a massive shame!

I'll have a rummage around - I may have a few boxes I could let you have for the cost of the postage if I can find them.

I put all my slides into Kenro sleeves and keep them in indexed binders, so how they come back from processing doesn't bother me much.

Unfortunately Fuji recently stopped manufacturing their slide boxes and to my knowledge nobody makes them anymore.

My Velvia came back from Club 35 boxed, so there must be some about, Kenro maybe ?

That would be great!

any chance of picking up some OOD films? :D

I've taken them to the checkout explained they are out of date so they need discounting, and they said they cannot sell them to me out of date and will go in the bin!

Hmm I quite liked how easy it was to have individual boxes, though a larger case may be useful, I have the slip case and file for my print negs and its quite full!
I'll ask club 35 if they can sell me some boxes!

P.S. I had a quick look this evening. I think the Kodak/Fuji/Boots boxes I do have may be up in the loft somewhere.

Well, I've been up and had a good hunt around this afternoon, but I'm afraid I can't find them. :(

Sorry about getting your hopes up.

Not to worry, it's not the end of the world. Thanks for looking!

In case anyone's interested, I've just had some 35mm slides processed by Peak Imaging in Sheffield, and they supplied the slides back to me in the traditional little plastic boxes (great overall service by the way). Digitalab in Newcastle also supplied the same to me recently too (they come recommended too).

Firstly, welcome to the forum and great name, nearly spat my tea out

Peak are good, I've used them a few times, obviously no good for process paid Fuji but I do like their service but they don't date-stamp the slides like Fuji do and nobody, that I can find, numbers, date-stamps and return in little plastic boxes like the good old days of Kodachrome. (I know Kodak fell down on the job at the end and that in the early days of Kodachrome they used cardboard boxes but I first used it in the 80's)

I'll have to get some new boxes, all my red kodak boxes from the 70s are all bending up!
