Hi Guys
Got a bit of on odd problem with my new Fuji "200EXR.
Been playing around with various RAW file converters and have come up with a bit of a Conundrum.
I have taken two pictures of the same scene
Picture one taken in EXR Mode
Picture two taken in Auto Mode
Both pictures converted to TIF files using Fuji FinePix viewer produce files that are 2048x1536 pixels and both have a file size of 9.06MB.
If I use the s7raw converter software and convert both files to TIF I get the following
Picture one 2820x2126 pixels with a file size of 17.1MB.
Picture two 5640x4252 pixels and a file size of 68.1 MB.
So why are the TIF files produced by s7raw bigger the those produced by FinePix Viewer and why is the file produced by s7raw from the Auto file so much bigger than the file produced by s7raw from the EXR file.
Thanks for any help
Paul
