Like everyone else I have had shots where the focus has just missed, until now I thought this was down to me (and I'm sure some of them are
). I have just read an article from a K20 user who was complaining about the K20 not having enough AF adjustment range.
This obviously peaked my curiosity, I attached my Sigma 24-60mm F2.8, asked the missus if she would mind posing for a few and started shooting. I worked my way from -10 AF adjust to +10. All i can say OMG what a difference!
The 24-60mm is so much shaerper at -10 AF adjust and my Sigma 10-20mm is all the way over at +10mm!! The difference is even more obvious when zoomed in on the eye.
Is this an issue with other DSLR's? If anyone has experiecnce with this kind of thing I would be really interested in your opinions.
Thanks folks.
