No more tennis and trying to get back into photography to take up the slack. When I retired 16 years ago, I got a Minolta A1 (a good early-on bridge camera) figuring I'd learn how to use it and amateur photography would take up the slack from tennis. Over the years, I have been using the camera on and off (mostly off). Used the camera for three days about two month's ago and within three days it stopped working. Was advised to get another camera instead of trying to have it fixed, so I got another bridge camera - Panasonic FZ1000. Although I do know a little bit on how to use it form my Minolta use, I'm now in the process of climbing a steep learning curve. I have no great ambitions with this camera other than learning how to use it properly and to take pictures that will please me. I will most likely start off by working on wild-life, bugs and environmental stuff. Good to be with you guys.
