My daughter paige takes after me, if she farts she blames other people, the other week, she squeeked and said "eerrrr daddy, thats disgusting" infront of our friends. this got me thinking, then i remembered my cousins when they were about 6, (background: my mum is 4ft 11in and called kate) one randomly asked "is it true, when you get old, you shrink" we said "yes" she replied "poor auntie katey" then wander off again, well, i nearly cried, especialy as my mum was out of eyeline when she said it. anyone else had children say funny things?

Way back when I first started dating my wife we lived at opposite ends of the county. Her daughter was due to start a new school and I offered to stay over and take both of them in the morning. Monday morning and the three of us are stood rather nevously in the playground being eyed up by all the other parents. Teacher appears from nowhere looks at my step daughter and say's "Hello, who do we have here?" (looking up at me) Very proudly Amber replies "This is Rob, Mummy slept with him last night so he'd bring me to school today"


I could have died.
