Following Rock the Priory during the summer the local paper used the images and when I spoke to the editor he recommended me to the photo agency that handles all the images for the Herts & Essex group newspapers.
I'm being made redundant on 20th December (Merry Christmas from ntl:Telewest ) and whilst I'm job hunting I thought I'd better try and find some local work so as not to eat into my redundancy money too much until I can find regular employment again. I went to see the agency on Friday and it looks like I'm going to be doing some freelance work for them on a daily basis and I've got my 'trial shift' this Friday from 1pm - 9.30pm, covering all sorts of different events and stories.
I just wanted to know if there was anyone who has maybe done this before and could give me advice on what to expect, any pitfalls I might encounter and what to look out for.
Thanks,
Colin.
