Yes
This isn't anything major but from the Canon website you can order a FREE print of one of your photos. They even pay for postage (which is nice).

Link is HERE

I don't think they'll discriminate against Nikon users :woot:

Normally it comes with a message saying

"PRINTED ON A CANON XXXXX PRINTER"

across the bottom!

I think you'll find that Nikon users wouldn't lower their standards to get free prints on canon paper

I dont understand why these jibes persist?

Nah the nikon users know that they will be impressed with the quality so don't risk the embarrisment...

Thats what you think.

tbh at the end of the day if canons/nikons were so bad nobody would buy them, therefore making them both great .

although canons are slightly better

oh that print thing didnt work it just said some error thing...

although canons are slightly worse, and poorly made

:D

EDIT: Did you change your original post ;) :D

:coat:

I got the error message a few times then it worked fine for me

:canon:

I went for this last year, the print I got was a little over postcard sized with the same message EOS_JD got. I remember a couple of years back Epson were giving away an A3 poster print, I wish they'd do that again :)

Not to me they didn't :( Sent off the picture and never heard anything back.

Now its not often that I have to say "don't take up this offer", but after posting the link the other day I got my print through the post this morning and I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed.

Not only did they print "Genuine Borderless Print Sample" & "Pixma Pro9000" on different places on the photo, the print itself wasn't as clear as I had expected.

So my advice.. don't bother with the Canon offer:thumbsdown:

Is the Canon vs Nikon thing similar to the PC vs Mac thing in the computer world?

lol

What about Pentax, are they the unsung Linux of the photography world?

I wonder what would happen if Canon bought Nikon or vica versa...civil war by the sounds of things!!!
