I'm selling off stuff at work and wrote a bit of html with a few links to extra pictures in each one. The items seem to have a fair bit of interest and I have now discovered the companies ISP have a stupidly low limit on hompage webspace bandwidth.

So where should I put the pictures? there seem to be a few free options. I have opened a free flickr account and uploaded a couple of pictures (without even looking to see what they were!) and it seems I can link to them.

Assuming you can see that i have a solution - unless you know a better one?

i use my own isp space for ebay, but have used this before for hosting pics for forums etc,

dont have to register or anything, can link individual files, thumnails etc.

I went to sign up for a photobucket account, but they ask you some ridiculous questions during the sign-up process. I have yet to work out what my gender, birthdate, level of education and postcode have got to do with it, yet you can't sign up without telling them. :Ponders:

I'll consider giving photobucket my invented life story tomorrow.

Using the ISP space was easy. They have a daily allowance for bandwidth starting at 9am. By 1 pm the pictures are just red X's. very annoying. One of these places where you phone up and talk to a computer - press 1 for etc. Of course you eventually get throught to the place where you get cut off. So upgrade seems out of the question.

At least it means people want to look at the items for sale :) Quite addictive watching the total bid and number of watchers increasing.

I would post the link but you'd only make the red X's appear even sooner :D
