Frank's 52 09 Identity added

Thanks for the comments - must play with cropping.

Good image Frank, the colour also looks good on my computer. As for the background I I rather like the rustic nature of it. It makes a nice contrast the the well kept state of the car.

Nice one

I'm with Angela on this one. I think the background gives it a nice contrast - a luxury car in an ordinary setting. :)

btw - those cattle from your Crowds photo ARE following you.

Thank you very much for the comments and they do. They come and look over the fence and watch everything that goes on in the garden - drives the dogs mad 'cos they just stare. :suspect:

Love the car photo, a timeless image of wealth, and as has been said, certainly needs some to keep it running. I think the background works well, apart from that window on the front right, it looks too modern for the rest of the shot for me. It works well though

Love the car but I'm sorry, the background doesn't work for me - too distracting and I don't get the feeling that the juxtaposition is intentional (I know you probably didn't have much say over the location though!). Maybe try a re-shoot if it's still there - after all we have the reshoot option for week 9!

Thanks for the comments, the shop is a problem not to mention the plants growing out of the car. That's a good idea about mono conversion and selective colour.

How's this for a first try?

Here's some of the bits of proof of identity I've had to provide over here. My driving licence that's quite popular in all sorts of places is out for a ride in the car so regrettably wasn't able to take part in the shoot. ;)

I've learnt that it's good to have more than one idea as a couple of others I tried didn't work out the way I wanted.
Putting the horizontal arm on the tripod is not the most stable way of using it. I'll have to rethink taking it outdoors in anything other than total calm.

Intersting layout for Identity. We do need a lot of it nowadays don't we? Like the vivid colours.

Agree with Matt - the colours and sharpness are so good on this! It was an idea I toyed with but I doubt very much I could have equalled your interpretation! Excellent stuff!:clap::clap:

Thanks guys. I'm never too sure how the colours and brightness have turned out as I don't have a profiled monitor.

Very nice,

The colours in your pictures always look great on my computer, so guess they must be similar. Another nice shot again this week. I too like the colours and composition.

nice shot for identity. that was my first thought. nice vivid colours and well focused.

Works for me, the colours are spot on (on my monitor) and the composition of the shot is good too.

Mark:thumbs:

I agree with Adrury - nice composition, vivid colours on my monitor and definately fits the theme

Yep, works well and its vivid and sharp, well done.

Very nice indeed, sharp, vivid colours, and good layout (better than my somewhat similar image :D).

Great collection for Identity, I sometimes think that an ID card could be a good idea but only if it actually replaced all these other things, I somewhat doubt it would.

In particular I like the arrangement of the individual documents (although you really should put the GB Passport on top of the french voting card ).

Well - that's definitely 'You' - you've been well identified.:D

Like everyone else has said - the colours are spot on and whatever you're seeing on your screen is working!

I thought about doing something similar but it wouldn't have been half as interesting as yours - a tribute to the French gift for beaurocracy indeed.:clap:

I like the whole set up of this shot...

Love the colours and detail...

Great inerpretation...and works a treat...

Excellent work from you for this weeks theme...:woot:

Great shot.....I had the same idea until I saw that you had beat me to it :bang: :bang:. Have to say you made a better job of it than I would ;)

Really like your colourful identity shot and looks like you have the same amount of bureaucracy in Grance as we do in Spain :D

Good composition and the colours look fine on my screen too :clap:
