So I thought it might be interesting to set up a timelapse camera on our stand. I've taken the footage from the four separate days and synchronised them onto one view. The original feeds (from a Brinno TLC200 Pro timelapse camera) were 1280x720, so I've merged them into one 1920x1080 HDTV view. Each day runs from 09:50 (10 minutes before opening time) to 17:10 (ten minutes after closing time), except for the last day which also covers the surprisingly brief breakdown period. That starts at 2:15 in the video, so if you're getting bored, skip ahead to that.

Bonus points for anyone who can:
  • spot the appearance of Charlie the sniffer dog (the highlight of the show!!!);
  • count how many different pairs of shoes my colleague Beccy wore in the 4 days. (Hint: I think it's more shoes than I actually own.)

The one thing is I cannot imagine myself
owning a white lens of any size! :eek:

I went last year, said hello to some grumpy bloke on the stand... Mind you if I'd been on my feet for 4 days :D

Can you remember what he looked like? Age range (30ish, 50ish, 70ish)? Still there in this year's images?

Ha ha. The bloke who works with Charlie the sniffer dog reckons he walks 10-15 miles every day. (English Springer Spaniels are quite energetic, apparently.) I'd much rather do that than stand around in the same place for 7 hours.
