I realised on Tuesday that the pic I submitted was the one I had oversharpened - so had white halos around the border - Oh well it was good to see everyone's attempts.
Whenever I vote in one of these I usually jot down some critique as I go to help me decide. It usually goes straight in the bin but this time I thought I would post my thoughts on a few of the entries. I have also knocked up a VERY rough edit just to show my points. I only spent a couple of minutes on each so no prizes for quality, its simply to give the idea.
I really like the ideas in all of these three and think that if they had been 'pulled off' then they would have given Boon a run for his money (metaphorically speaking of course ). These are just my opinions so may be completely wrong and are given in the context of a shared learning experience.

Point of focus needs to clearly be the lighthouse. Use wider aperture so the wall is more OOF but not so much to lose the graffiti. Selective saturation increases on the graffiti. Change of view so opening is not dead centre.

Garden is overexposed. Fence is way too light. Could try putting a box around the lens and against the fence or even just use a box with the opening cut in it.
Keltic Ice Man
IMHO having two opening reduces the impact significantly. Big Ben doesnt seem quite vertical. Border seems a little 'powerful' for the shot.
Well done Sir, bit of a good week for you this one isn't it?
