Going up to Scotland next week and going over the Bridge ,I would really like to take the regular tourist photos but dont know the area .
Any help with directions to park up and take a few photos would be greatly appreciated

Find the car park on the sea front at South Queensferry. Some great shots from there, or have a wander in either direction.

I like North Queensferry at dusk.

Your horizon is a bit squint,but a nice shot.:)

If you want to get a true sense of how big the rail bridge is, head for deep sea world on the north side. There is a car park there where you park near as dammit under one of the feet.

It look big when you drive alongside on the road bridge but when on this car park it's huge!

Definitely go to South Queensferry. Apart from good views of both bridges, S Queensferry is an interesting place. If you are looking for somewhere to eat while you are there try the Hawes Inn which is almost under the rail bridge.

If you want to walk over the bridge you could try the car park at the Tescos just south of the bridge.

I don't. Head over the bridge to th North side and follow the road for sea world and you'll see the stone bridge on the right. I was standing on a small footpath with the Rail Bridge over on my left and as you see the road bridge on the right. Sometimes the water is way out so the effect is not the same.

Unfortunately some of the bridge is clad in white wrapping whilst being painted, the tanker loading station mid-river up stream of the rail bridge is interesting at night too.
