Hi peeps :)

I was considering driving into London tonight to do some long exposue shots, and was after a little information.
I want to head to Canary Wharf area, but dont know London very well (I have sat nav)
So looking for a good location, place to park etc, what time is best to go to avoid traffic. Any other info would be great

Thanks
- Chris

i dont know london all that well..your sat nav should do the trick
but as for missing traffic and parking...
there always seems to be traffic and parking if i recall was a nightmare..even in wembley

There is a multi storey car park at Canary Wharf so that shouldn't be a problem and the traffic should be too bad either.

The thing to be aware of is that there are restrictions on photography there, especially if you're going to use a tripod, so it would be advised to contact someone when you get there (or beforehand if possible) in order to obtain permission.

hmm I was just reading about permission at CW, looks like the sensible thing to do is to apply for a permit beforehand

For nice views of Canary Wharf, go to Rotherhithe street in Canada Water, across the river. You can park in the street, no parking restrictions.

Took this from there yesterday.
