Post your bikes and what got you into the genre of 2-wheels! :D

(Just hit 50 degrees here in the States and so this was my first dayriding. The auto white balance was thrown way off so please excuse the crummy pics :p )

Don't ride anymore but this was my beauty back in the UK.
A 1977 Z650c. I didn't do the paint job, it came like that.

Got into bikes through my Uncle's n' cousin's who were, and still are, bike mad. I think I was 8 when I had my first ride of a bike, a yellow Honda ss50, Burnt me bloody thigh getting off the thing. My cousin used to do some local races and did the TT a few times. So, bikes are well and truly in the blood. It's too dangerous to be riding a bike in Canada, the car drivers are mad.
 
Oooh MindCrime, I'd love to ride that around town, Cafe Racers jsut a that "look" to them.

Here is my little beauty, all back on the road after accident last year, making about 165bhp at wheel and is so fast its scary. sorry about the background not much of a view and the patch of oil didnt come out of the bike either...

Got into bikes at a very early age and it is well and truely in the blood, had all sorts from off roaders to superbikes but think i will stick with the blade for a while, going to the old dears in south of france at the end of next month on it so will try for some more scenic shots then..

Got into biking as a solution to LondON traffic: initially by getting a 125 scoot. Rapidly got fed up of that so did the DAS and bought the SV. Totally hooked on bikes now. If you haven't yet I strongly suggest you do (however, when you fall off I'll deny all responsibility!!) ;)
 
I just wish i was taller and had more muscle to be able to ride a superbike :'(

It&#8217;s Italian, very temperamental, it breaks down a lot, and it&#8217;s impossible in slow traffic, but apart from that it's one of the most exciting and most fabulous handling bikes I've ever ridden.

I sorely miss my CB 900F Bol d'or...

OK so it doesn't compare with these nice modern babies but boy did I have good times with that bike.

Pity is she pre dated the digital era:bang: :bang: :bang:

Oh well enjoy them you fortunate peeps!!
 
^^^I know how you feel! I'd love to have the $$$ to be able to buy a new bike but my baby is my first street bike and it's given no reason for me to complain.

By the way, my tongue is still hanging over that Aprilla. :thumbs:
