There was info Chris but all passes have now been issued, the RFL made it extremely difficult to get accred this time round and they required invoices from National papers to prove you have been published regularly

To gain accreditation for level 1 Super League you had to submit your invoices/receipts for work already published in the Trade papers, Regional papers and National papers, the RFL made gaining accreditation much more difficult this time round for various reasons and they introduced a 3 teir system, the lowest teir basically applied to club photographers and allowed them access to their clubs own games.

middle teir was aimed at local and regional newspaper photographers and they too had to supply documented proof that they were employed by a paper or proof of beling published on a paid and regular basis.

Top tier is Super League

Plus you had to supply evidence of current public liability insurance for at least 2 million quid

If youre not already accredited you wont get it now

Hi Gary,

Cheers for the quick response, it sounds like the hoops that have to be jumped through to shoot Rugby are bigger than football?

Trust me Chris it's not!!, getting into shooting Footy is a whole step up in the pecking order!!!:shake:. Kind regards Graham.

It was certainly a lot harder to get my rugby accreditation this yr.. got a level 1 pass so happy... but it wasnt anywhere near as hard as the football league licence is.

I shot quite a lot of Super League last season with no problems, I worked for the local press. As others have said here, this season has been much harder to get the pass. I'm hoping mine comes through any day now.
