After a couple of failed attempts at cobbling something together I have found one that is commercially available at last. I've not caught anything worth using it for when fishing
but have used it for 'studio' shooting with the camera on a tripod. It's available with a range of plug options for major camera brands. The plugs are on what look like the adapters you can buy for generic wired releases from online market places so no need to buy more than one pedal if you run multiple camera systems.
