In the 1960s, I met this girl who was an assistant at a West End studio, which specialised in food photography.

Jokingly (because ypu were allowed to back then) I asked why she was so thin, with all that food around her. Her reply was that, after all the things she'd put into and onto the food, to make it camera ready, it was only suitable for poisoning rats!
