Focal length input ?

Hi All,

So, Been that I'm a bit of a tight ass, I bought an old manual focus lens for my camera. I got it knowing that I would have to "tell" the camera what its focal length is when I turn it on but......

Do I input the actual focal length ie. 50mm or its equivalent focal length 75mm ?

You put the original focal length in, the 75mm is the equivalent cropped field of view. The focal length of the lens doesn't change.

actual, focal length is a physical measurement which stays the same regardless of what size the sensor is.
