Well, this time tomorrow I shall be on a plane heading away from rainy on England and towards sunny (well, hurricany!) Miami for 12 days on the West Coast. Hoping to visit the Everglades and Key West once all the storms have gone!

Won't be taking my big guns alone but hoping I'll be able to cover most situations with the 28-70 and a 70-200 with 2x TC (did some tests, this combo was slightly better optically than the Sigma 400 f5.6 I was going to take). Not really sure what to expect as I've never been there before but hoping to at least come away with some good shots from the week.

So, fingers crossed I get 'some' good weather - although getting some good storm pictures would be pretty cool as well!
 
Have a great time Richard. The Everglades is a fantastic place to visit. Make sure you go on a hovercraft ride through the Everglades :D The skill of the guys who drive those things is amazing!

I would highly recommend a polariser. I was grateful for one on many occasions :).

Cheers mate. I already have the polariser situation sorted. The friend I'm going out to visit ordered me a Nikon one from BHPhoto and it's already with her waiting for me :)

Looks like you had good weather, fingers crossed for me! lol

We had thunder and torrential rain every day at around 4.00pm. You could almost set your clock by it :thinking: Other than that though it was hot, hot, hot :) Hope you get decent weather too :D
