Right Guys as some of you may know, (even if you dont know/care), im moving back to the Dominican Republic after breaking my leg in June 07 and coming back to the UK and then breaking it again in May 08. :shake:

Im finally in a good enough state to go back and continue rehab there on my own. My plan was to turn up at gatwick and wait for a cancelation as i dont have to be there or anywere at any time.

But i thought i would ask if anyone on here is good at hunting for cheap flights...

I finish my temp work here on the 27th march and can leave anytime on or after that date... Going anywere in the Dom Rep i can find my way home.

Please help me maybe find something so i dont have to camp at gatwick:help:
 
cheer kelack, im finding flights for 350 but thats too much im only going the one way, ive left here one way oct 06 for 190 squids :D
 
does anyone know if it is cheaper to get a last minute flight like a few hours before, or does it get more expensive...

Seriously, with the current economic climate it will be tough to match £190 from nearly 30 months ago.

Yeah i guess your right, the cheapest i can find them are at around £350. So lets rephrase...

Do you think i will be able to get it any cheaper if i wait closer to the time or should i book as soon as?
 
Have you got anyone in the DR who could book a ticket for you from that end? I've saved a fortune in the past on US trips by doing that.
 
so for them to book me a ticket from london to the DR?

Sounds like an option i guess anything right now would be good for the cheapness

Do you mean for them to book a return from there to london and i use the return?
 
Get them to book the 1 way or sometimes it is cheaper to buy a return and not use the return journey - but you may get blacklisted by the airline for doing that as they class it as abuse :lol:
 
i better be carefull then, not too many companies fly there from the UK :lol:

Im going to check if my dad can sort something out from out there but chances are im going to wait another couple of weeks.
