Flickr - Yes I've been amaused at all the threads - it's changed again tonight and I'm stumped.

Opted out of the 'new' Flickr ages ago and was able to post pics fine last night.

Despite helping other folk with their problems of late (and being amused by the amount of Flickr help threads) I've Just uploaded a few images which I wanted to post on here but I'm stumped as it's all different again.

I see my photostream but when I select an image I just get this..........

edit - can't even show you what I get as a screenshot as that's too big :bat:

Click on the share Icon and then click on the "pin" icon.
That's the BB code that is shown
Just copy and paste it.

If you can't see all the size choices just make sure you are scrolled down the image page a bit.
This one is 800 pixels wide

yay, sorted! Just in case anyone else needs it, just done a screen grab of how to share using this newest version of flickr, including a couple red circles to highlight the bits you need to click.Oh and so far with this new version, no way of getting the title and author to show under the image using bbcode that we have found so far :(

Any way of just displaying 800 size on TP from flickr without the clicky hand that takes the viewer to Flickr ?
 
I think it is showing at 800...I think, on my laptop, so not totally sure. As long as you clicked the dropdown on flickr and chose the 800 option, it should show here at that size...I think... :confused: You can't stop the clikc through, thats what using the bbcode does and is part of flickrs T7C's anyway.

Thanks for the help Yvonne (and Richard) as I can at least post now.

I always liked the option where you could just open the image you were prepared to share (say 800) in flickr - simply 'right click' and 'copy image location' and then paste into the TP mountain icon.

If I figure out a way of posting the chosen image size 'dumb' on TP without the hand link to flickr I'll let you know.
 
you can!! click on the 3 little dots, then from the menu, choose 'download/all sizes' - then select view all sizes, pick the one you one and do your old right click thing on and use TP image tags to post, as shown here:D

However, as I said earlier, it is part of T&C's to have the click back to the FREE hosting flickr provide ;)

Strictly speaking under the terms of use on Flickr your required to embed the image in a way that allows clicking through to Flickr

4 kids chucking up and a stressed wife feeling ill now. Me fretting over something as silly as flickr :whistle:

I'll quit whilst I'm ahead.

That said all is quiet so I may just have one more small glass whilst I make sure I've got it sorted ;)

3 little kids exploding at both ends.

My 14 year old moaning about wifi in her bedroom.

Karen (my wife) calling for lemsip despite tonight being our 15th wedding anniversary .

What more can one do than sort out Flickr :angelic:

For me Flikr (see below) has not changed recently. Mine does not look like yours. The share icon is still at the bottom right edge.. I didnt mess with any settings I swear. I have no access to settings anyway.

Am I the only one?

Just checked mine for the first time for a while & yikes it is as Phil posted the image for :thinking:

But I am absolutely, totally, fully confident that Yv will always come to our rescue :banana:
