Yes
I am not a big user of Flickr but I have recently started to look around it it for inspiration.

One thing I have noticed with a few of my images is the amount of views under each images.

As an experiment, tonight I took a couple of images and uploaded them to Flickr and within a couple of hours, it says it has had 15 views.

The image in question is nothing special, just some Glass Bottles on a shelf.

The question is... who is viewing these and how are they finding them amongst the huge number of images on Flickr.
here is the link to my Flickr photostream

most of your views probably comes from people who have added you as a contact... or have searched for one of the keywords you tagged your image(s) with i'd imagine

Open the photo page

click where you can see the number of views (with the little bar graph next to it)

You'll then get the photo stats for that image that show where [most of] your views are coming from. You can drill down to each domain to get more detail.

To see stats for your whole photo stream, go to the You menu and choose Your Stats. In your case you should find them at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ibarber/stats

The image may have cropped up on the Flickr front page or people could be searching it after searching for "glass" or "bottle"

It is quite interesting to see who is looking at your photos and where they are from....shame I don't have my pro account anymore!

Thanks for the information. Looks like the majority are coming from "Unknown Source"

Pity they dont break that down further

I don't get many 'unknown source' ones, but I get quite a few from Facebook but that's probably due to me spamming new sets on their when they finish uploading :p

Popular tags, is the answer. Try typing in search box for "baby", over 7 million results.
