It's a selection of 500 interesting photos for that day as selected by the great computer in the sky at Flickr Towers
 
Congratulations Nick! I just clicked on the link and was surprised to see a scene local to me! I had to come back and check what I'd clicked on :)

Thanks for the link Martyn, I plugged my flickr name in and found I have been in explore 3 times which was news to me :lol:
