Can't upload any pics to Flickr. I get them into the upload area and it starts to upload but about 2/3 of the way through it says 'error - one picture has timed out' and stops. It does this with one or several pictures and none actually get uploaded. I've rebooted my PC and signed in and out of Flickr several times but nothing has changed. I still have 99% of my 1tb space allowance apparently. Any ideas? I don't really want to go back to Photobucket for hosting.

Cheers!!!

I sometimes have that problem to,would like to hear a solution to it,but what i do is use the old uploader on flickr & it seems to work better.:)

This is a regular occurence. It's them.

Try again tomorrow.

Cheers Philip. It started about supper time last night tho so it's already been happening for about 18 hours. I can't see a way of contacting them. Might start looking for alternative hosting sites. Anyone got recommendations?

I'll give that a go.

OOh how do you get to the old uploader?

I had the same issue, try switching your antivirus software off just while you're uploading mate. Worked for me when using Avast Antivirus.

When you hit Upload at the top of the screen there's an option to use the old uploadr (as they call it). Seem a bit more laborious if you want to upload a pile of stuff tho.

I use Avast too and not noticed a problem. Just sent 3 up a few minutes ago without any problem but if I do in future I'll try switching it off temporarily.
