I'm probably missing the obvious but does the app version of Flickr allow to you to view the larger sizes of the image like the Web version
 
Yep, certainly does!
 
Just tap the pic (public view) turn screen to landscape, you can zoom as big as you want. Same on phone or tab.
 
If you move your phone closer to your face, the image will appear to get larger.

Jus kiddin". Tap once to show the picture with no overlay. Then 2 finger zoom and it will increase the resolution as fast as it can download in the background.

Don't zoom too quickly though, or it will hit you on the nose!

Thanks for that I didn't realise the resolution automatically changed as you zoomed on the app. I was looking for a show all sizes button as per the webpage
