Does anyone know how to permenantly change the order of the photos in an album?

I find I have to edit the album then change order to newest first but then when I add new photos they aren't at the Beginning so appears to be a temporary change.

Are clicking on the blue, "Save" button when you make changes?

I have the same problem. I'd tried several times before giving up. Flickr is pretty poor when it comes to customisation.

Has anyone got it to work with "newest first"?

Yes that works for that 1 time only, then when you add more photos they go to the back of the album.

Its so annoying.

How does it want to order them, is alphabetical?
For an obvious sequence you could add a numerical prefix "01- pic one"

It's "newest last" within an album. And newest first in the photostream.

I guess the principle is that its like a physical album that you put new photos at back, but its just a pita for this modern age

They are trying something new with the beta "Camera Roll" now. Which doesn't work at all for me at the moment. Lets hope this is the start of giving users choice on the way pictures are displayed. Their current "landscape oriented pictures must be 2-3x bigger than portrait oriented pictures" madness, has to jar with photographers, and must be fixed asap.
