Beginner Flash

right need some advice is there a flash that will work on a Nikon D3100 & a Canon 1300D?
I use the D3100 and my son use the 1300D (try my best to get him to use Nikon )

Kinda, sorta.

Any fully manual flash will work on both (don’t recommend it), for TTL use...

The Godox TT685 like all the new Godox flashes is brand agnostic when fired off camera. So you can buy the Nikon version, and a Canon x1t trigger (or x-pro) and your son can use it off camera. Or buy the Canon speedlight and a Nikon trigger.

thanks Phil I'll look at them, he did flash work when he was in school and enjoy it, he just got his 1300 for Xmas, and wants to try it again, ( if he doesn't carry on I'll pop it in my bag in case I need a flash)
