im looking to buy a spare flash tube for my bowens esprite 200w/s
the code from bowens is bw2030
what a price for a replacement i nearly s*** myself when i priced them
anyone know where to buy these bulbs at a reasonable price ??

What price were you quoted?

Any other code numbers either on the tube or in the manual?

I just did a search "uk flashtube bw2030" on google and a few things are coming up. Give that a try?

I bought a tube for one of my Bowens 250s a couple of years ago, reassuringly expensive at £75 if I remember correctly :( :(

It seems expensive because you're thinking in terms of your old 200w head but you should appreciate that it's actually really good value when you're using one of the newer heads like a Gemini 500C etc. Bowens has used that flash tube for years, it was one of the nicer things about buying into their brand.

The only way you're going to get it cheaper is to buy a second hand kit, stuff prior to the Gemini 200w heads can go very cheaply but then you've got the problem of not knowing how heavily used the tubes are and for most it's not worth their time to save £10-20.
