I'm looking into flash triggers for my canon 7d, while it does have wireless transmitter in its on camera flash I find it useless when I don't want to use it, I'm kind of on a massive budget and was looking at the Yongnuo RF-603, has any one used these and are they any good? I'm guessing most of the time you pay for what you get but at £30 for 3 transmitters/receivers isn't it worth the gamble?

Thanks in advance

Glenn

Ok thanks, I did want to search but my iPad decided not to let me go to the 'search' field, sorted now though, thanks for your quick reply

No worries, I use Interfit (various other clone titles over the last year... Phottix, Calumet etc) that are Pocket Wizard compatible by the way. Allows me to use the RT-32 module in my light meter.

I am also a 7D user, I understand what you mean that to use the wireless transmitter you have to use the on board flash which is less than ideal for a number of reasons, line of site, refresh rate of the onboard flash, it can cause problems if you want to use non canon flashes that go off with the initial flash of the onboard before the main flash goes off.

I use the Rf 603s and they have never failed yet. Also a handy remote shutter release as well if you don't want to use the in built 2second delay.
