Hi,
I started out with a set of Yongnuo receivers and trigger. I seem to have ended up [after a few location shoots] with two triggers neither of which appear to be the Yongnou 602!
I was trying these out with the Yongnuo receivers and no matter what setting they don't trigger. I seem to have life in one trigger by way of a flashing light when I press test but it doesn't trigger the flash. I thought that all these triggers were on the same frequency......? The receivers have 4 dip switches, one trigger has none the other 2 dips.
Maybe I am doing something wrong or maybe they are not compatable?

Cheers

Triggers are on the same frequency because there's only so few license-free radio bands available. However every manufacturer may implement their "protocol" or equivalent in the analog world as they wish. To avoid interference triggering the flashes, they'll usually implement a unique signal that the receiver looks for.

So I'd say they're not compatible and that it's not a bug - it's a feature.

Location shoots with others 'togs?....sounds like you got your triggers mixed up...post pics of the said triggers so we may help further.

Well after a bit of research on a part no, one appears to be an Alien Bees the other is a complete mystery. If anyone wants them feel fre to contact me. I have ordered another 602 set!!

Thanks,

Dunc
