Flash In The Pan's softboxes, how do I put the back on, oh and a Warning...

First off, my items arrived this morning, great, thanks a lot :)

How I attach the circle plate to the back of the softbox?


Also a warning, when taking the folded softbox out of the bag dont be sitting down or have your head too close, it popped out and whacked me in the face taking a chunk out my lip and cracking my nose, now the bleeding has stopped I can laugh.. :p

Make sure there is no blood on the softbox as it may cause a colour cast!

Okay, I was only joking about the screws :naughty: the ring is an interference fit between the four back edges of the softbox.
 
Haha! That brings back memories, when I opened mine it leapt out of my hands and my dog nearly laid an egg she was so shocked!

Good luck getting it back in the little bag, mine has never managed to get back in!

Just slip the round part of the plate inside the four wire supports of the softbox at the back, should just slot inside them nicely and hold there....well, thats how mine is operatin anyway :shrug:

ahha, all those holes on the plate kinds threw me, plus maybe I was in a daze. Seems to be working now although the lip is coming up a treat lol
 
It's not everybody who can say they got a fat lip off a softbox! ;)

You should try unpacking a 6ft collapsible backdrop - you end up with a face like :nuts: :lol:

No offence but this is why they put warning on things and instructions on how to open your cereal box, when you buy a pop up softbox ddin't you think it would "POP UP!!" <<<

Anyhoo if you have trouble putting it away try the figure 8 twist there is a video on youtube kicking around.
