Have two flashes at the moment a canon ex430 and some other vivitar or something it's very good though. I have some old cheap cactus triggers which work on and off.
What setup would you recommend for portraits would I need another flash so I can have 2 for BG and one on the subject, I have a stand and umbrella for flash but do you think a soft box would be better? Can you get medium size universal ones to fit normal flashes?
I think I am going to invest in some new triggers as mine have had it. I have seen some I like but not many people have heard of them and people recommend the yonguono ones. The ones I'm looking at are aputure flash triggers which can also be used as remote triggers.
