Hi,

Iam looking into buying a new flash for my 450D, but as i am mostly shooting mountain biking i would really want one that a could place somewhere as appose to on top of the camera.

Is there some sort a cable i could get for the flash and run it to where i want it or is it the case that i have to buy something like Pocket Wizards where they have a receiver and transmitter?

Thanks

Tyler

You can get a ttl-cord in a length of up to 10m, but realistically a set of triggers suchas the RF602, are more practical for the likes of mountain bike shots.

Ah cheers, being new to all this and heard a few people talking about the Pocket Wizards and looked at the price and was a bit shocked, those seem ideal for now.

Cheers

Also if anyone could recommend a good flash would that would be great to, cheaper the better at this point of time :(

Can recommend Flash in the Pan highly.. i shall be ordering some RF602's(and other stuff) shortly.

Just had a look got some great stuff, will be in touch in future to buy some stuff. Got the page bookmarked. :)

Cheers for the help

Just to note, the RF-602s are excellent, but strictly manual exposure control only. A 10m cord would retain full E-TTL control.
