flash gun help

hi . can anyone help me out with this ,
ive got a Hanimax TZ1 flash gun from my old olympus om40
i need to know if its compatable with my nikon d70 ,
anyone know ?

You need to check the flash voltage Kev. There is a chart on the internet somewhere that gives the voltages of just about anything ever made. Check to make sure youa re not going to fry your D70.

This is the site you are looking for but it don't list your flash, you could test it easily enough yourself if you have a meter.

im not going to risk it ,its not worth trying it ,
ill pop it on ebay then lookout for anoter one to suit the d70.
