Flash compatibility with R5/R6

I am having a kit, cables, pouches etc tidy up and sort out. I don’t use flash very often. I have a Canon R5 and R6. My Canon 580ii flash emerged from a drawer just now. Will it work ok on my mirrorless kit? I don’t want to just try it so am hoping someone else might have this flash too.
