Flash brollie ball heads

Yup, I've got a couple of them, and they're excellent - very well made, and very heavy as well; should last for years. I just never trusted my flashes sitting on the standard type with the tiny thumbscrew to tighten. More than once I thought they were tight only to catch my flash on the way to the floor after letting it go, so tried these; recommended...

So will the top screw into the little plastic stands that come with flashguns (ie tripod thread)?

havent tested mine yet but they seem very adjustable. I would find it a bit fiddly in lining up the flashgun hotshoe mount with the shaft of the brollie? But presume once its setup and locked tight then should be ok

cheers for that, ive currently got the manfrotto lite tite head things that are pretty bulky and awkward to adjust quickly. thought these would improve both of those points.
i assume the brolly hole is standard, 8mm is it?

If anyone is interested in these, I'll see if I can import a batch to sell at the same sort of price as the HK sellers...

i was just about to order 3 of them, as they're only £11
but will happily wait till a bulk order is put together.
Was gonna order the d300 bat grip from them too, maybe a little off topic here, but point me in the right direction to join in a bulk order.

I won't be in a position to buy for a couple of weeks but if you added these to your repetiore Graham, I'd be interested eventually (when I get paid and I have got married!).

I like the fact it has the thread adaptor, the flexibility of the 1/4 & 3/8 thread size is great.
