Flash Bracket Options?

I'm looking for options (apart from the Phottix one) for a bracket like this. Not having much luck, or probably searching using the wrong keywords - it doesn't need to hold two flashguns, one would probably suffice, but does need to bend when mounted on top of a lightstand to get the correct angle on an umbrella style softbox (the type with the slit in the bottom that doesn't give much leeway as far as angling downward goes).

Am sure I've seen something in a thread on here before, but as per usual can't find it again..... :)

TIA

No one??

It will with an umbrella, but not with an umbrella softbox; the type with the slit in the underside for the flash to go through..... I'll resume my quest for options anyway..... :D

Edit: I actually thought the Phottix part shown was able to bend to different angles, but it's just a straight extension which would fit to a light stand mount.......

I've got a straight extension and s knuckle joint I use inside a Westcott type softbox, but it still requires a flash bracket atop it. It's not really worth the hassle I have to say. I rarely use that softbox now, id rather use the Godox pop up type. It's much better to work with.

Thanks Phil - aren't the Godox and Westcott much of a sameness though? Both are umbrella design for opening and have the slit in the bottom for the flash head/lightstand to go through?

No, my Godox is a pop up type with an s fit bracket that holds the flashgun.

Ah, OK..... I've got one of those S fit brackets, but just wondered if the quality of light would be better from a (non-bare bulb) flash firing back into the softbox rather than through it from the back..... something like the Godox 180 would probably be perfect for the bracket, but can't stretch to that at the moment.....

I'll dig out a couple of examples of you want...

I have two umbrella style softboxes, one is an Octabox with grid etc, both have the zipper for the stand and I use a number of brackets with them including the one in the link, I agree it does not give huge adjustment and prob like many have found inc yourself makes it hard to position the box/octa, given that light is so critical at times it makes it hard to get the best from the setup, PhilV's type of box is a much better option but given most only cater for one speedlight 2,3 or 4 can be a problem?

Maybe this:-

Only problem I could see is you may want to check your primary stand as some of the spigots are only pop riveted to the tubed section, you may find it would fail given the load across the top...

Thanks, Arthur, that looks decent. Wouldn't be much of a load on it anyway as only intend using one flash.
