I am struggling to get my Yongnuo 568EX Flash to work off camera. I have External speed light control Enabled & E-TTL !! Evaluative, I have also set the flash to Sc, what else should I do to set it up.

Nothing on camera, I thought with the settings I have on the camera it would be like commander mode on a Nikon.

And they wouldn’t on a Nikon either that didn’t have onboard flash.

You need a flash or transmitter on camera, the simplest works straight away with your flash, the ST E2 (or Yongnuo equivalent).

But that’s only optical triggering which has its limitations.

You can get a pair of YN622’s for less than the price of a Canon ST E2, which gives radio and is better in every way.

Or you can think about an alternative flash with a radio receiver built in either Canon, Yongnuo or my choice would be Godox.

Just had a look on eBay and what a selection of Godox flashes. Which one would you suggest for either on or off camera use ?.

I’d pick up a TT685 and x1 transmitter bundle. On and off camera flash simple efficient and fully featured.
