Interesting, I wonder if that will effect the repairs to grey imports
why would it?
I don't know - as Wex very proudly deal solely in UK stock and have a vested interest in selling UK stock would it be beyond reason that they might only repair UK stock? Damaging to the business they bought but good for their main one.
Well I'm guessing because grey imports have probably had quite an effect on WEXs core business, that said to buy a company and then snub a section of its customers would be akin to cutting of your nose to spite your face, so I doubt WEX will change the day to day operations of fixation...I do wonder if down the line they will slowly change the branding of fixation to tie it into the WEX branding maybe starting with adding tag line of Fixation (a WEX company) and eventually becoming WEX Repairs
Got a source for the acquisition info?
.
Nothing on their website, but I guess there wouldn't be if they just made the sale. I sure hope the quality service continues (or gets a bit cheaper!)
Cheaper repairs would be nice.
£100+ to clean inside the front glass of a 17-55mm?! No.
Any lens cleaning in London use this guy http://www.playfordrepairs.com so much cheaper.
