Im looking for a fisheye lens, and considering buying either a DSLR body + fisheye, or a Hasselblad 30mm lens for my 500CM / 39CFV (digital back).
I also have a Nikon Coolpix 4500 + fisheye adaptor which gets well used, but is seriously outclassed for image quality. The Coolpix is however great for waist level candids. I have never owned a normal DSLR, and have difficulty with complicated menus. The extreme exposure latitude of the 39CFV makes the (elderly) Hasselblad a surprisingly simple camera to get a full tonal range from.
Does anyone know of links or comparisons of fisheye lenses not sorted by camera types? Can normal DSLRs cope with bright sky and deep shadow in the same shot? I would be pleased to see any discussion along these lines.
Brian.
