First With Lightroom

So I got told to look at Lightroom to edit my photos,here are few I've been messing about with. Any feedback welcome.

You would get more comments if you inbed the images here as like me , a lot of folk can't be arsed to click through to Flikr. As for he processing, they all look very over cooked, it's quite common with new user, all those sliders folk get carried away. All that said, I'm no expert so take what aI said with a pinch of salt.

I like all your compositions but only #3, IMO,
has a somewhat decent rendition.

I know this was a first touch but I think you
could do a lot better in PP… just take your
time as we all had to go through there too!

Processing is only the last step in the sequence.

Without knowing what your RAW files were like, it's difficult to be sure but it looks like you need to spend time working on the earlier stages as well.

Have you heard of the saying "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"?

Hope that's not too harsh.

Try to forget where the saturation slider is. With both saturation and contrast less is more.
