Woop woop!

Ok so my Media experiance starts and stops at Castle Combe where 200mm is more than enough...My longest lens is a 70-200mm F4 L, will this be enough or should I push the boat out and get the Kenko 1.4TC?

I will be track side at Silverstone (anyone else on here going?) could do with some pointers with regards to access to the track/best places for media etc etc.

Cheers in advance guys!!

I have only shot there once, so I can't really comment on the best places to go. I know that 200mm will probably not be enough, I would splash out on the TC!

From my experience best shots are.

: Down by barriers inside of paddock bend. By the Marshal post. Go over the bridge, down and through the gate and you will see where I mean.
: Outside middle of Paddock.
: Outside of druids. Amazing this isn't a red zone.
: Entry to Clearways etc.

200 Ok for Druids but a 4-500 ideal for everything else.

Loads and you have ages at the Brit car to scope them out. I am planning on covering it so will be there.

Apologies I though you were talking about Brands. Doh!

Silverstone, if they are using arena circuit or versions of. Out side of Club and outside of stowe up the hangar straight give good shots. For start outside of copse a must.

The shot up the straight by the new pits from Farm is awesome if you have a long lens.
Only thing is it all still looks a bit like a building site, so need nice long pans to hide the rubble!
