Hello all,
have been prowling around reading bits and bobs on the forum for quite some time now! and enjoying some wonderful images, which have given me lots of inspiration and buzz for getting a camera, and getting out and about again!
A little about me, im 24, and from Norwich, I visit lots of motorsport events (snetterton, santa pod, silverstone, rockingham etc.) which is where alot of my old photographs were taken, along with oulton broad for the power boat racing.
I am currently in the market for a new camera, having unfortunately having to sell my old camera about six months ago to pay some bills that crept up on me!
I used to own a Canon 30D from which I loved the results, but felt it was very bulky and alot of kit to carry around on days out, so I am thinking of trying a 450D or a 1000D but unsure of which yet!
Any advice or places to buy would be good, ive found two deals so far one for a refurbished canon 1000D with the 18-55IS kit lens for £300 and a refurbed 450D body for the same (£300 is my budget)
I am only looking at Canons as I have the luxury of borrowing lots of my dads kit which includes some very nice L glass.
Any help appreciated! hopefully get a camera soon, and be able to share some of the shots I get (hopefully you all wont be too hard on my results! lol)
