I bought a GoPro Hero4 a few weeks ago and have been wanting to try the night lapse feature with it. I got the chance a few nights ago, heres the result. I still need to learn a lot about post processing to get more detail. I liked it as it is though.

Getting on for about 7 hours

No, the camera used the original battery and a battery backpac. The video has two separate sections, first one was just using the camera battery and lasted 2 hours, with the bacpac fitted, I got 5 hours

How often was it set to take a photo to please?. Looking to do similar when my controller arrives.

It was set at 30sec exposures, continuous. Protune was on, spot meter off, WB native and colour was go pro.
There might be better settings, but I don't know them. I would prefer a longer exposure setting but it isn't available.
Processed in GoPro studio and slowed down to around 70% to extend the video.

That's cool, apart from when the light came on in the house. Midnight wee? :D

That's the Mother in Laws bedroom. Probably pouring herself another sherry!

5hrs is really good for the backpac. The main let Downing the gopro for me is the battery size.
Great video btw :)
