First dslr

Hi looking for some advise please,going to by my first dslr and have come down to a Nikon D90 as the one i want but the lenses i cannot decide on i have a total budget of £1400 for the body and lenses and i was looking for a 2 lens set up,i wanted a good all round everyday zoom lens and a larger zoom pos up to 300 for wildlife and the odd motorsport
Any ideas would be a great help

A D90 body will cost you £600, leaving you £800 to play with. For that you could get a 70-300 VR (£390) and something like the excellent Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 at around about £350, leaving a bit left over for filters, memory cards etc...

cant go wrong with that, oh and maybe get a 50mm f1.8 for some crazy DOF techniques.

Far from it, in a case that you really need to be around 60mm just take one step back/forward. You can always crop from 50mm.
