Firstly having read other posts i must apologise for my ignorance of this subject.
I am looking to buy my first Digital SLR and having been a Nikon film camera user back in the 90s i immediatley looked at there offerings and liked the look of the D3200.
Then i read it will only auto focus with lenses with built in AF motors and have no idea how i find out what lenses do or dont have this feature?
I have since been looking at the huge variety of other cameras available and have become totally confused with which one might suit me.
Dont laugh but my budget for the body is £500 would buy used if i really had to.
My use for the camera would be my Granddaugher portraits and playing, holidays and trips out with general landscapes, people and buildings.
If i bought the D3200 the lenses i would buy are these but unsure which has an internal AF motor.
Tamron 17-50 F2.8
Nikon 35mm F1,8
Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX DG
I would buy the lenses used on ebay and would hope to buy the three for around £700 making my budger for all £1,200
With this in mind can anyone firstly tell me if the above lenses will AF on a D3200 and secondly can anyone recommend a better camera than the D3200 for my price range either new or used.
