First action cam

Hi all,

I'm looking for an action cam for our summer holiday for the kids in the sand and pool and also for skiing next winter. Would the GoPro Hero4 silver be a good bet? I did look at the black but think the screen may be more beneficial as opposed to the 4k?

Also, for skiing, how would you think best to mount it? The kids will wear it and they wear hire helmets so I assume I can't stick it on those?

What do you guys think?

gopro silver 4 is plenty for 4k! the screen helps and saves battery as the wifi will decrease the battery life dramatically when in use if you were to use your phone as the screen. Theres more mounts out the for the gopros so would be easier to buy additional bits for to
