Firm wear update Tamron lens for Z6iii

I am trying to update firmware for my Tamron F mount lens to work with my Z6iii. The lenses are non usb. Will the TAP in Console F mount do the job of upgrading the lens so it works on the Z6iii and FTZ please
 
What do Tamron recommend?
 
All they say is newer lenses can be upgraded via usb. Nothing about f mount update and z mount compatibility
 
Which Tamron lens is it ? Their later F mount lenses can be updated via the Tap In Console to give compatibility with Z cameras using the FTZ.

Thom Hogan has a list of compatible Tamron lenses on his site but for some reason I can’t add it to this post.

It is very likely that your older DI lens does not have an upgrade path to mirrorless, but you might be lucky.
 
Good news and bad. It wont upgrade my 90mm 1:1 macro, as thst needs to be done by a Tamron technician; a service they no longer provide. However my other lens can be upgraded
