I have sort of already asked this question in anotehr thread, but I want to make the question more general. How do you go about firing 2 off camera flashes at the same time using cables? I know I can do it with the CLS on my Nikon D300, but how do you do it wired? Are there hotshoe splitters of some sort out there?

Very easy to do. Get a normal headphone splitter and then two cables. Plug the two cables (which are 3.5mm jacks, the same as normal headphones ;) ) then plug the cables into the flashes. Now you can fire two flashes with one receiver.

Job done :)

That's neat:clap:

Thanks for the idea. Very neat. Only problem is that im using Nikon SB600 flashes which don't have any inputs other than the hotshoe. Suppose if I got some hotshoe-jack converters.

I had already spotted a similar one on ebay, but that is helpfull thanks. :) Now all I need is a hotshoe with a pc sync socket, as well as a 1/4" screw thread on the bottom.

I got a three way adaptor for PC sync plugs, think it had one male socket which plugged into the side of the fleebay receiver and three female outs to plug the cables into. Can't for the life of me remember where I got it though. I'll see what I can dig up.
