Looking to upgrade from my faithful 2013 64GB Mac Pro 6.1 (Trash can) and undecided which way to go, Mac Mini or Mac Studio.

I don't shoot as often as I did when I had my studio or edit as much, but I still want a machine that is capable if required.

I currently run Photoshop, and Capture 1 for Fuji but have recently got a Nikon D700 so want to install Nikon NX software, my question is would a Mac Mini with 24GB ram cope well enough or would it struggle to keep up?

Or should I go for the Mac Studio with more memory?

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

I’ve just upgraded to a Mac Studio from a iMac. Amazing speed, very pleased with it. I’ve always thought go for the best you can and future proof it!
I’ve got 128mb of memory.

Agree with @Norkie . Although today's Mac Mini will handle most things with ease, will it in 5 years time? The processor, yes, almost certainly. But will the memory?
